A firearm— [ who the fuck gave strange a gun ] Don’t tell me you ran into that cat?
[ She’s too distracted to comment on his little instruction to save every little scrap of silver, but also, who is he to talk about the farmers keeping their cool?? ]
[ There is a Pause. If Strange wasn’t out on that expedition, she’d tell him to meet up with her in person to discuss, but that’s just not practical. ]
[This sounds like some weird practical joke, but whatever. She won't turn her courier off when she goes to fetch the mirror, so he'll get to hear her shuffling around for a bit, then quiet as she looks at the her reflection, trying to figure it out.]
I know there's some kind of spell on it, but I ain't seeing anything odd.
[Fine, fine, she'll humor him. She'll stare at it until she blinks, expecting something stupid by this point since he's not telling her anything, and--
Well, she sees it, scales on her face. Strange will get to hear Shura swear, the sound of the mirror clattering to the floor. It doesn't break, but Shura's too stunned to say much of anything for a moment.]
[Shura has a scale of her own, hidden somewhere in her room.]
I'm not sayin' that it ain't them or that it ain't their magic. If a regular person can leave behind a ghost, imagine what a big dragon like them would leave behind. But I don't think it's just them involved. When did you ever hear about a dragon gettin' involved with necromancy?
I haven't heard of anything like that, [ he begrudgingly admits. ] But there's too many factors involved with us and our resurrection that point to their involvement.
