"Later," Shura tell him, because she knows he's falling into something sentimental when he slows down. She doesn't really mean it as a promise, but she's well aware that Strange is probably going to take it as one. At least she can try to prepare for whatever he would try to do that evening with a good dose of alcohol.
But at least he's paying enough attention to hurry it up. Shura can work with this, hooking a leg around him and grinding up against his hips. It's a less than subtle way of telling him that right now isn't the best opportunity to show off that endurance he bragged about.
He is definitely taking that as a promise. Shura grinding up against him is incentive for Strange to go a little bit faster and move a little bit quicker. He adjusts his position somewhat, so he can actually grind into her while he continues to thrust inside her.
And now it's Strange's turn to let out a little moan of pleasure as the sex continues.
This is a bit more like the kind of bang Shura knows and appreciates, and she can get a bit more into this, shifting just a bit where he rubs against her just so when he moves inside of her--yeah, that's pretty good. If she wasn't in a rush, she might have let let him take his sweet time. She likes the sounds he makes! But not being as single-minded as Strange, Shura will just keep trying to encourage him to finish up.
"I want you to come inside me." Wow, dirty talking feels a little awkward sober, but whatever.
Strange is just entirely here for the dirty talk and entirely here for making this a Huge Fucking Deal that he's a little bit surprised when Shura tries to hurry him along and even more surprised that she wants him to finish inside of her. Okay? That's odd, but he can do it.
He stops trying to take things slowly and draw this out as long as he can and instead tries to focus on hurrying it up and shooting his shot. He's not entirely ready to finish up though, as he gives Shura a little nod and then leans in to kiss her.
Strange is the weird one who doesn’t understand the point that the point of a quickie is to be quick!! And now he’s going to kiss her while he’s banging her. A part of her knows that she should have expected this from last time, but still. Fine, fine, she’ll let him kiss during coitus, in part because she’s aware that it’s apparently important to him. She’ll even wrap her arms around him in a nice little embrace. Look, affection! She’s doing her best to try and smooch and show him some affection since he’s not going to get her to use the l-word any time soon.
Affection! Strange loves affection! He relishes in the moment for a second or two before biology reasserts itself and Strange realizes that ah, he's about to come. He pulls away from Shura with a little shudder, breathing heavily as he does what she requests, not pulling away and coming inside of her. He lingers for a moment after he finishes, giving Shura a lopsided smile before he removes himself from inside her, still breathing heavily all the while.
Wow, what a dumb smile. What an uncool and stupid expression. But even though she's entirely sober, Shura is realizing that she's becoming weak to that dopey smile. Before she can catch herself, she's reaching up to touch his face, brushing any strands of hair that might have fallen in his face during the bang. Her own expression is soft and unguarded for a brief moment.
Only just that moment. He's pulled out of her, and Shura will casually try to move him off of her. Sure, he can get a cuddle out of her if he whines, but she can't be stuck under him for the rest of the afternoon if he passes out on top of her. She has stuff to get done, after all.
There's plenty of reasons why Strange loves Shura. But that expression right there, that softer expression that he absolutely loves but that she normally hides behind at least five layers of sass and sarcasm, that's one of the reasons right there.
Strange lets Shura push and move him off of her. Now that he's next to her, however, he's going right for the cuddling because he is a goddamn predictable menace of a man.
"You know, I think the dragons are asleep. We can linger here for as long as we like."
The worst predictable menace, thanks. He'll get his snuggles, though Shura won't be shy about letting her opinion on the whole thing be known. Hopefully Strange committed that sweet moment to memory, as Shura's quick to close back up.
"It's hot," she whines, letting Strange go in for the cuddle and only giving him a small pout. It's the perfect excuse to slip away in a few minutes.
Shura has seen just enough of Strange’s magic to know better than to encourage him to invent an air conditioning spell on the fly. Restraint and control didn’t seem to be his thing, and she really doesn’t want to spend the evening cleaning up whatever magical disaster he would create.
“Shouldn’t you be saving your energy for later?” Quick, distract the horndog with the promise of more sex. Shura isn’t entirely sure that she’s emotionally prepared for whatever sentimental nonsense he was bound to pull out later, but he already said he wasn’t planning on sleeping much. Might as well play into it!
"You're right about that," Strange admits. If the choices are 'use magic to cool down the room' or 'save your energy for sex,' Strange is choosing sex. He rolls over a little to get a better look at Shura, giving her a little smile.
"Do you have anything else to do today or can Alistair, Bell, and I stay around for the rest of the afternoon?"
Truly, a domesticated man, picking sex over playing with magic. But now that her first distraction worked, now Shura's having to work out a second plan. Sure, letting Strange tag along with her while she ran some errands wasn't a bad thing, it might be perfectly nice on a different day. But with the city in its current state, Shura doesn't want to waste time strolling about and enjoying the outing. How could she phrase this--
"I'll look through your supplies and see if there's anything else I need. If I have to grab some stuff in the market, it'll be quicker if I leave Aconite with you and go on my own." He can dragonsit and teach Aconite... stuff. Very important stuff.
Domesticated as fuck, though the jury's out if he realizes this or not. Still, Shura's reasoning makes sense. Someone needs to keep an eye on the dragons. And really, better it's one of them than an animas. Poor Bell was probably run ragged trying to keep up with Alistair.
Strange nods, as he shifts his position and sits up a little in the bed. "I'll keep them safe. Who knows, maybe I'll be adventurous enough to give both of them a bath."
Shura doesn't know what god to thank for Strange's acquiescence, but she's happy it didn't take much. If he seems comfortable with her excuse and reasoning, then she'll take it as a sign that she needs to get on the move.
"A bath? Well, if you wanna try that, then go ahead." Aconite... might be okay with it. Shishi was there to act as back up, so Shura isn't too worried about the trouble Strange is going to get into if he tries bathing both dragons at the same time. It'll be a good distraction for hi if nothing else, and Shura will sit up, looking for wherever her shorts went.
"All over the place," Strange admits. An organized system? Naaah, that's not his style. To his credit, he does look a little sheepish about his completely chaotic organizing system. "But most of them can be found in the kitchen cabinets or in the trunk in the living room."
It's not like Shura's really surprised by his answer, and let's be real, she's only marginally more organized than he is.
"Got it." And there are her shorts! With those in hand, she'll actually get out of the bed. She has her goals--clean up, check the stuff, and go before Strange changes his mind. Oh, and check his alcohol. Better make sure there was something harder than wine in the cabinets.
Unfortunately, there is nothing harder than wine in the cabinets.
Strange lingers in bed for a moment, as if he's debating whether or not to get up. But then, he hears a small thud from the other room. Damn, the dragons might have woken up. With a grumbling noise, he gets to his feet then fishes around to try and find his pair of pants.
"I should go check on the troublesome two. Be safe out there, alright?"
Strange is clearly not prepared for Shura to come live with him if he's missing both a nice tub with magically heated water and hard liquor. But at least the booze can be settled.
"Yeah, yeah, I'll be careful." Who is he, her dad? Whatever his concern may be, Shura isn't terribly worried about any of the dangers in the city. She'll take a quick inventory of what he has laying around the house before heading out. After a few hours, she'll return from a mostly successful shopping. She has everything she needs for the wards, which is good, but more importantly, she's bringing back dinner! And booze, but dinner first! But before she can eat, she has to make sure that Strange hasn't somehow wrecked himself and/or the dragons, so she'll very cautiously shut the door behind her before calling out.
"I'm back." Maybe she should drop everything off in the kitchen before venturing further in??
The moment she talks, Shura can hear the pitter-patter of tiny little dragon feet as both of the dragons scamper to the door in order to greet her. Aconite is nice and clean: she did get that bath. Alistair is still a little wet, having just finished getting a bath. And behind them, also thoroughly wet though not by choice, is Strange.
He follows the dragons into the main area and gives Shura a small smile. "Welcome back," says the obviously exhausted man. Giving baths was harder than he thought! "How was everything?"
It's almost cute, having two dumb little dragons racing to come see her. Aconite begins to make happy little chittering noises, bouncing from side to side and keeping close to Shura's heels. She's waiting for the first chance to try and jump up on Shura and climb her way up to her shoulder, but Shura knows exactly what Aconite's plan is, and she'll keep moving to dodge any of her attempts at jumping up.
"You look like you took a bath with them," she tells Strange, giving him a quick look over before moving to drop off the bags of stuff in the kitchen. She expects him to follow her like the puppy he is, so she'll just let him try and explain himself while she gets things half put away.
Being a bit of a chonker, Alistair doesn't jump. Instead, he also stays close to Shura's heels while occasionally pawing at her leg. He obviously wants to be picked up and is going to follow Shura until that happens!
Strange is also going to follow Shura and walks into the kitchen with her. He sighs, shaking his head a little. "Aconite was well-behaved. She whined the entire time, but she stayed still. Alistair was the troublesome one. He tried to climb out of the bath at every opportunity."
"She's probably too tired to put up much of a fight," Shura replies. She's almost surprised that Alistair was causing a fuss, seeing as he was getting attention. But a bath wasn't a good sort of attention for a wiggly dragon, and that was probably the difference.
"Mm. I guess it's good that he's got some spirit." Dinner to one side, bottle of what is probably some kind of moonshine to the other side, and then the magical supplies put up and away somewhere where it'll take the dragons just a few extra seconds to find. Once that's done, Shura will finally look down to Alistair. What, what did he want? If she knelt down to look closer, then Aconite would jump up on her, so Shura just looks down at Alistair, wondering just what his deal is.
Alistair continues to paw at Shura's leg as they walk to the kitchen. When she looks down at him, he starts whining in a loud, obnoxious fashion.
Strange knows what this is. He sighs as he looks down at Alistair, shaking his head at the tiny dragon. As he talks, he leans up against the wall, looking from Alistair to Shura.
"He wants you to pick him up. It's a bad habit he's developed," thanks to Strange, "and he's probably bothering you instead of me because I'm the one who cruelly gave him a bath."
If Alistair's going to whine obnoxiously, then Aconite is going to join right in. Great, they're both being super annoying! Shura scowls, half-listening to Strange between the sad dragon sounds.
"He'll get over it." Probably. He'd probably forget by the end of the night, but that doesn't help her right here and now. Well, the evening was still young, and it wouldn't hurt to play with the two idiots for a bit. Get their energy out so they could pass out and let her get drunk in peace. With most everything about as put up as Shura wants, she'll move closer to Strange, reaching out to tug on his damp shirt and continuing to ignore both dragons.
"Go change out of this. I'll keep an eye on them for a bit." Is that nagging concern? No, of course not. This is just being practical!
